PaweverHome is a mobile app that seeks to connect pet owners with pet-friendly rentals. Finding rental housing can be difficult for pet owners, especially those who own specific dog breeds or non-traditional pets. It is one of the common reasons why pet owners end up rehoming or surrendering their pet. As a rabbit owner, I discovered during my rental search process that many rentals that purport themselves to be pet-friendly usually only accept dogs and/or cats. As part of my final academic project for my UX/UI Design course, I came up with a mobile app that makes finding pet-friendly rentals easier for pet owners. Not only does PaweverHome only display listings from apartments that are pet-friendly, it also allows users to narrow down their search results with more specific filters.
